Influencing Your SJAR

Purpose of the workshop

This is an interactive half-day workshop designed to help individuals get the most from their SJAR appraisal and to enhance individual performance and career progression. It equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to maximise their influence on the structure and content of their SJAR narratives and the formulation of rewarding objectives that are aligned to the Service needs. It also provides an overview of the SJAR process and explains how SJARs are viewed and assessed by the promotion board. The workshop provides up to date guidance on the key factors that make a successful SJAR appraisal.
